Bright star is Alpha Cas, Schedar. Autoguided with Celestron NexGuide autoguider. However, image of comet core is from only one exposure to minimize trailing from this fast-moving comet.

Comet McNaught taken at about 1:30am MDT on June 14, from latitude +51°, so sky was brightening with twilight, with comet low in the northeast. This is a stack of 2 x 60 second exposures at ISO 1600 with the TMB 92mm refractor at f/4.8 and with the Canon 7D. Field of view is 3* x 2°. Stars at topbelong to Perseus Association.
