Comet McNaught taken at about 1:30am MDT on June 14, from latitude +51°, so sky was brightening with twilight, with comet low in the northeast. This is a stack of 2 x 60 second exposures at ISO 1600 with the TMB 92mm refractor at f/4.8 and with the Canon 7D. Field of view is 3* x 2°. Stars at topbelong to Perseus Association.
Comet Lulin on night of Feb 21/22, 2009, with 200mm lens Canon lens (for simulated binocular field) on Canon 20Da, tracked but not guided. Single 3 minute exposure at ISO 800 anf f/2.8. Some haze and fog. Could not stack shots due to comet motion.
Comet Holmes (17P) at upper left and Comet Tuttle (8P) at lower right (as green spot), taken Dec 29, 2007 with 35mm Canon lens at f/2.8 and Canon 20Da at ISO 400 for stack of 6 x 2.5 minute exposures. Also includes M33 (below Tuttle) and M31, and clusters NGC 752 (middle) and M34 (left beside Holmes).
