The wonderful open star clusrter NGC 6124 in Scorpius amid a field of dark nebulas and on the edge of a bright star cloud with red emission nebulosity. I call this the Dark River Cluster. The small star cluster NGC 6192 is at bottom. Taken with a telephoto lens to simulate a binocular field of view. This is a stack of 4 x 2-minute exposures at f/2.8 with the 200mm telephoto lens, and filter-modified Canon 5D MkII at ISO 2500. Tracked on the AP 400 mount.
