Veil Nebula (both halves), with 77m Borg apo refractor at f/4, and Canon 20Da camera at ISO400, for stack of 3 x 14 minute exposures. Taken on a superb night, Sept. 11, 2007. Obscured area to the right is interstellar dust darkening the field and obscuring stars, not a defect. Guided with Meade DSI thru 66mm guidescope and PHD Guide software on Mac. Each frame precisely in register.
