NGC 5822, a rich large star cluster in Lupus, at centre, but here partly lost amid the background starfield. NGC 5822 is a fine sight in a low-power telescope. Below and to the right is the smaller cluster NGC 5823. At bottom is the rich cluster NGC 5925. The brightest star is Zeta Lupi. The field simulates a binocular field This is a stack of 5 x 2-minute exposures with the 200mm lens at f/2.8 and Canon 5D MkII at ISO 1600. Taken from Tibuc Gardens, Australia.
