The North America Nebula, NGC 7000, in Cygnus, taken with the new Canon EOS Ra factory-modified “astronomical” version of the Canon EOS R mirrorless camera. Taken as part of testing. This is a stack of 4 x 6-minute exposures, with LENR on and at ISO 1600, through the Astro-Physics Traveler 105mm f/6 apo refractor with the Hutech field flattener.
NGC 7006 globular cluster in Delphinus, a globular 130,000 light years away, so tiny at this scale with the 130mm f/6 refractor. Taken with the Canon 7D for a stack of 4 x 8 minute exposures at ISO 800. Taken from SSSP 2012
The Fetus Planetary, NGC 7008 a planetary nebula in Cygnus This is a 5 x 8 minute exposure stack with the Canon 7D at ISO 800 and 130mm Astro-Physics refractor at f/6. The field is relatively wide and focal length too short to show much detail on this small object, but the field does simulate what you would see at low power through a telescope.
