NGC 2903, a bright spiral galaxy in the head of Leo and one of the best NGCs that is not a Messier object but should have been. This is a stack of 4 x 8-minute exposures at f/6 with the Astro-Physics 130mm apo and Canon 60Da at ISO 800. All guided with Starshoot and PHD Guider 1.14 and the Sky-Watcher AZ-EQ6 mount. Galaxy at left is NGC 2916.
A telephoto lens image of the spiral galaxy NGC 2903, off the face of Leo the Lion, shot to simulate the field of view of binoculars for illustration purposes. This is a stack of 6 x 1-minute exposures with the 200mm lens at f/2.8 and Canon 6D MkII at ISO 800, tracked but unguided on the Mach 1 mount, on April 24, 2019.
