IC 4756 and NGC 6633 S-O Double Cluster, taken Aug 15, 2007 from home. Stack of 3 x 4 minute exposures at ISO800 with Canon 20Da and 135mm L-lens at f/2.8. Field equals 7° bino field. Slight trailing (not guided).
Stack of two 12-minute exposures at f/6 with 5-inch apo refractor. Canon 20Da camera at ISO800. LENR employed in camera. Noise Ninja applied to both images. B&C and Levels adjusted to increase contrast, and Black level increased in Selective Color to darken sky. No other color shift employed.
The Cocoon Nebula, IC 5146, a bright red emission and blue reflection nebula 4000 light years away in Cygnus, located at the end of a long dark nebula B168. This is a Mean combine stack of 5 x 12 minute exposures with the TMB 92mm apo refractor with Borg 0.85x flattener/reducer for f/4.8, and filter-modified Canon 5D MkII camera at ISO 800. Taken from home October 5, 2013.
