Taken Nov. 2, 2004, with Canon Digital Rebel 300D for 20 sec af f/2.8 with lens at 20mm setting and ISO 400. Camera on fixed tripod. Moon just off frame at top throwing some flare into field.
40-minute exposure with Pentax 6x7 camera and 35mm full-frame fish-eye lens at f/5.6, taken from home in Alberta Nov 2004. On Fujichrome 400F slide film. Glow layer added to put glows around bright stars. Foreground brightness boosted to add some detail to ground.
Western twilight sky in evening taken March 28, 2004 with winter sky setting. Also visible, Venus at lower right, above it Mars (above Pleiades), and Saturn below the bright blob of the crescent Moon. Mercury also visible, barely, just above horizon and lower right. Taken with 35mm full-frame fish-eye lens at f/4.5 on Pentax 6x7 camera, with 120 format Fujichrome 100F slide film. 16 minute exposure, tracked so that stars are points and horizon lights are streaked.
