Open cluster pair of NGC 2451 (right), a bright loose cluster, and NGC 2477 (left), a fainter but very rich open cluster. The field is also filled with faint emission nebulosity. This is a stack of 5 x 6 minute exposures at ISO 1600 with Canon 5D MkII camera on 105mm Astro-Physics Traveler apo refractor at f/5.8 with 6x7 field flattener.
NGC 884 and 869 (right) open clusters in Perseus Taken Nov 6, 2010 with 105mm A&M apo refractor at f/5 with Borg .85x flattener/reducer and Canon 5DMkII at ISO 800 for stack of 5 x 10 minute exposures, Mean combined. Used Celestron CGEM mount and Sky-Watcher SynGuider on William Optics 66mm guidescope. All seemed to work well.
